The AV Technician will take be involved in supporting, installing, implementing and configuring simple and complex AV technologies to meet the needs of the business. As the AV Technician , you will be supporting Audio Visual presentations across theatres and studios, prioritising equipment repairs and replacements, and assisting the wider AV team.Responsibilities for the AV Engineer:Support, maintain and troubleshoot AV issuesSetting up and recording live streamsSupport, maintain and troubleshoot hardware issuesSupport events with their AV requirementsSupport AV installationsCreate documentation around all tickets completed and create user guidesStore, transport, assemble and disassemble AV equipmentEssential Skills for the AV Technician : The successful AV Support & Installation Engineer will have experience with the following: Audio Visual support experienceExperience working within an AV environment working with conference Centre and StudioGood experience working with Lighting and Sound systemsExperience working with mixing desks eg YamahaDiagnosing issues with MS Teams and hardwwarePrevious experience setting up video streams and recording video streamsAble to assist with physical installationsGood understanding of Signal flow and compressionTroubleshooting mindsetDetailed orientatedTime managementGood customer service skills including excellent verbal communication skillsDesirable Skills for the AV Support & Installation Engineer: It will be beneficial if the AV Support & Installation Engineer has experience or knowledge of any of the below: Completed AV installationsVMix, OBJMicrosoft WindowsSound EngineeringAny relevant certificationsIf you are interested in this great opportunity to become an AV Support & Installation Engineer that will allow you to enhance your skillset whilst working within a growing company which offers a lot of progression and funding towards certifications/training, then please apply in the immediate instance
