Senior Developer - UKIC DV - Contract

Rate: £650 to £700 per day

Location: London

Duration: 6 months (extendable)

IR35: Inside

The role:

A leading Government client is seeking to appoint a Senior Developer, to provide Technical Leadership and set the technical direction, for highly motivated and talented development teams.

The Role would be London based and active DV Clearance is required. 6-month initial contract (extendable).

Essential Criteria:

  • Significant experience of modern development languages (e.g. Java, Python, Go etc) with code written to a common standard.
  • Able to lead and mentor development teams.
  • Infrastructure as Code
  • Cloud technologies (either AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Expertise in translating user requirements into technical requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with Clients, Senior Management and software engineers
  • Experience of using Kubernetes and/or OpenShift as a deployment platform and day-to-day development environment.
  • Understanding of and experience with Modern DevOps methodology and technologies.
  • Automation/configuration management (i.e. Ansible)
