Workday Finance Consultant
Salary: Up to £95,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Location: London - 2 days per week onsite
Working Hours: Full time - Permanent

A globally established organisation is seeking a Workday Finance Consultant to support finance transformation initiatives through the implementation, optimisation and ongoing enhancement of Workday Financials.

This is a client-facing functional role suited to an experienced Workday Financials specialist who combines strong system configuration expertise with a solid grounding in accounting principles. The role involves working closely with Finance leadership to deliver scalable, compliant and high-performing Workday solutions across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities for the Workday Finance Consultant:

  • Lead functional design workshops with Finance stakeholders across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes
  • Configure multiple Workday Financial Management modules including GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses, Procurement and Banking
  • Support Chart of Accounts design, accounting rules, allocations and financial reporting structures
  • Drive data migration, validation and reconciliation activities including open balances and historical data
  • Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity between Workday and external systems
  • Develop and test Workday reports, dashboards and analytics for Finance leadership
  • Configure business processes including approvals, workflows and control frameworks
  • Support testing cycles including unit testing, UAT and cutover planning
  • Ensure compliance alignment with SOX, GAAP and IFRS requirements
  • Support post go-live stabilisation and hyper care
  • Provide training, documentation and knowledge transfer to Finance users
  • Engage senior Finance stakeholders including Controllers and CFO-level leadership
