2nd/3rd Line IT Engineer
Salary: up to £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm - Monday - Friday

An established global brand and technology-led organisation is seeking a 2nd/3rd Line IT Engineer to join its core IT Infrastructure function, supporting a diverse range of business critical systems while contributing to ongoing modernisation and transformation initiatives.

The 2nd/3rd Line IT Engineer position offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on engineer who is eager to develop, keen to learn and motivated by a role where no two days look the same. Also, the 2nd/3rd Line IT Engineer will gain exposure to core infrastructure technologies, project delivery and advanced technical environments, with clear scope to progress into a full 3rd Line Infrastructure position.

Responsibilities for the 2nd/3rd Line IT Engineer:

Enterprise Architect - 12 months - SC ClearedDuration: 12 monthsRate: £700 per dayLocation: Salisbury - hybrid with occasional travel to site.IR35: In ScopeThe role:A leading Defence client are seeking SC Cleared Enterprise Architects, to own the enterprise architecture vision, strategy and roadmaps from a business, technology and data perspective, including 'as is', 'to be' and transitional states.12-month contract, Inside IR35, working both remotely and on-site in Salisbury.Responsibilities & Experiences:TOGAFITILOwn the enterprise architecture vision, strategy and roadmaps from a business, technology and data perspective, including 'as is', 'to be' and transitional statesUnderstand the organisation's ecosystem and its interdependencies, including reference architecturesTake a strategic view across all architectural domains, portfolios and programmesGuide the organisation to make appropriate business, technology and data decisions by recommending reuse, sustainability and scalability, to achieve value for money and reduce risk Establish architectural principles, policies and standardsCollaborate and consult with stakeholders to assure business, technology and data decisions are aligned with enterprise architecture strategyDevelop the architecture communityCarry out horizon scanning across industry, identifying emerging trends and their potential impact and opportunity for the organisationDevelop, validate and review conceptual, logical and physical architectural designsManage the architectural aspects of the target design, policies and standardsWork pro-actively to achieve stable, viable designsAssist with the selection of suppliers (where appropriate) to fulfil the requirementsIf you are available and interested, please apply in the first instance and you will be contacted to discuss the position further.
