The role:
A leading Government Institution is seeking a Test Analyst, to work on the end-to-end testing of a public-facing JavaScript-based web application, adhering to strict usability and style guidelines.
This is an initial 6-month contract, Inside IR35 and remote.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven expertise in test planning and end-to-end testing of JavaScript-based web applications.
- Plan and execute tests for System Test, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT).
- Hands-on experience designing test scenarios, writing test scripts, and managing execution for System Test, SIT, UAT, OAT, and Non-Functional Testing.
- Experience working with third-party vendors in a test environment.
- Strong knowledge of test and defect lifecycle management, from raising defects to re-testing and closure.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale for test and defect management.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and an ability to identify areas for test automation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams.
