SAP TM Consultant (S/4HANA)
Salary: Up to £90,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Location: Liverpool - Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

A globally established organisation is seeking an experienced SAP TM Consultant to support the design, implementation and ongoing optimisation of transportation management solutions within a complex enterprise environment.

This role will focus on delivering and supporting SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) solutions, working closely with logistics and supply chain teams to enhance transportation planning, execution and cost optimisation. The position is well suited to a consultant who combines strong functional expertise with the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

Responsibilities for the SAP TM Consultant:

  • Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) across planning, execution and freight management
  • Analyse business requirements and design solutions for carrier selection, route optimisation and shipment execution
  • Integrate SAP TM with modules such as SD, MM, LE and EWM, as well as external carrier systems
  • Configure transportation master data including lanes, zones, resources and freight agreements
  • Manage planning profiles, freight order processes, charge management and settlement
  • Support testing phases including UAT, SIT and go-live activities
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure system performance and data accuracy
  • Provide end-user support, documentation and knowledge transfer to logistics teams
  • Work closely with supply chain, warehouse and operations teams to improve transportation efficiency

Essential Skills for the SAP TM Consultant:

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) on S/4HANA
  • Experience across transport planning, execution and freight management processes
  • Strong knowledge of SAP SD integration and broader logistics modules (MM, LE, EWM)
  • Experience integrating SAP with external systems using APIs, middleware or CPI/PI
  • Strong understanding of transportation processes within logistics and supply chain environments
  • Experience configuring freight orders, planning profiles, transportation cockpit and charge management
  • Strong understanding of master data design and organisational structures within SAP

Desirable Skills for the SAP TM Consultant:

  • Experience with S/4HANA Embedded TM
  • Exposure to EWM, GTS, Event Management or aATP
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and user interface configuration
