The role:
A leading central Government Department are seeking skilled Service Managers/Service Relationship Managers, to support their delivery of Technology and Operations services to internal and external customers.
This role would suit those who have prior Government experience, will excellent stakeholder engagement skills, who have an understanding of Service Delivery (ITIL).
Experience Requirements:
- Experience of relationship management- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to forge working relationships with diverse customers and colleagues.
- ITIL and Agile Foundation level
- Understanding of service delivery across the whole life of service delivery
- Must be able to articulate service management and support requirements
- Experience of financial analysis and costing
- Ability to work as part of team- emotional intelligence and empathy
- Strong numerical and analytical skills- experience of managing projects, contracts and people
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Technology and Operations services to internal and external customers, delivering of high-quality service delivery and solution management.
- Understand the functional and non-functional requirements of the customer opportunity and ensure they are within the technical capability and capacity
- Deliver high quality proposals that meet customers' needs and expectations at an acceptable level of risk, ensuring that all solutions to the customer are timely, commercially viable, align with the strategic roadmap and carry an agreed and defined level of risk
