Job Description

Position: Technical Account Manager

Location: Central London

Salary: £45,000 Benefits

Contract/Permanent: Permanent

Hybrid Working: Hybrid - 2 days remote and 3 days in office

Working Hours: 9am-5:30pm

The Candidate

They are looking for an organised individual who has clear written and verbal communication skills. The role will require visits to customer sites depending on the needs and requirements of the business, you will need previous experience of dealing with senior stakeholders as it will be the main focus of your role.

You will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced and engaging environment it provides good opportunities to learn and further your skills. You will need to have an understanding of the technical roles the engineers will be doing in order to be able to relay this to clients and stakeholders. This leads on to the candidate wanting to have the desire to be in a managerial position within Accounts/Sales.

Responsibilities of the Technical Account Manager will include:


Managing accounts within the company both existing and new ones

Building relationships with Senior stakeholders and ensuring they are maintained while building new ones

Promoting exciting new business services to existing and future clients

Presenting a pitch to clients and then building the necessary roadmap to showcase the plan

Quoting new machines - This will include providing quotes for new machines/services provided to new clients

Key Skills of the Technical Account Manager:


Have a decent IT understanding including technologies the Engineers will use for example, Office 365 principles, VPNs, Networking (switches/routers) and Spam services

Strong communication skills working daily with a huge variety of clients/stakeholders of different backgrounds

Strong customer facing experience and happy to work along side Senior stakeholders

Desire to be in account management and a less hands on position

Desirable Skills of the Technical Account Manager:


MSP experience

Have a strong technical background and now looking to move into management of accounts

Sales/Account Management experience
