Site Reliability Engineer - 12 Month Contract - SC Cleared
Rate: Up to £750 per day
Location: Remote - 1 day per week in either London, Manchester or Bristol (whichever is closest to your home location)

The role:
Senior Site Reliability Engineer to work with a leading Central Government Institution on an initial 12-month contract basis.
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will ensure the availability, resilience and security of one of the client's major services and be part of a small team focussing on migrating from the GOV.UK PaaS to AWS ECS.
Experience requirements:
* extensive experience of using AWS * experienced with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation * experience working with container schedulers such as Kubernetes and ECS * familiar with at least one programming language such as Ruby, Java, Python, Node.js, Go * experienced with UNIX-like operating systems and technologies used for web applications, e.g Linux, databases, backups, CDNs * strong Git skills and experience of working with GitHub. * familiar with working in agile environments * can work independently but also pair and upskill more junior members of the team.
