Location: Hybrid: 1 to 2 days per week in the office required (Manchester, Bristol or London)
The role:
A leading Government institution are seeking a highly capable Senior User Researcher, to undertake an initial 3-month contract. This role is Inside IR35.
As a Senior User Researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse of projects on improving GOV.UK products and services.
Experience requirements:
* Experience of advocating for user research and engaging colleagues and * stakeholders * Broad and specialist user research experience in a digital/IT environment and * large complex organisations * Ability to understand the complex problems a team is trying to solve, and * align user research activities to inform decision making and action. * Experience of introducing new research methods and helping teams to adopt. * and choose the most effective/ appropriate user research methods, analysis. * and synthesis techniques and approaches to presenting and sharing findings. * Experience of helping teams to adopt user centred service design and delivery practices and embed them into their agile workflow. * Familiarity with GOV.UK design patterns, style guidance, plain English standards and/or the GDS service manual.
