THE JOB:
The role of a Senior Software Developer:
* Working on both live issues on a BAU basis as well as exciting projects as this huge merger continues to require various integrations to be completed. * Mobile working - adding functionalities to existing infrastructure. * Mentoring/Managing - You will have a Developer reporting into you where you will need to be carrying out appraisals, reports and day to day help. * Carry out solutions that ensure a good user experience. * Use your knowledge of database concepts modify and maintain a data model. * Working in sprints using AGILE SCRUM Methodology * Produce detailed design documentation turning logical designs into physical designs.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
Essential Skills:
* Strong experience of writing code in C# / JavaScript / XML / CSS / Java / .NET / HTML * Strong database background using SQL. * Minimum 3 years of similar work experience
Additional experience that is desired:
* Working in/Knowledge of an AGILE Environment * Management/Mentoring of staff - Appraisals / Reports / Day to day help * Experience of Mobile application platforms such as Aareon 1st Touch or Versaa
