Senior IT Support Analyst - Wimbledon/Remote - £62,000 to £67,000 Bonus Benefits

The 3rd line Engineer/Senior IT Support Analyst role is to support the IT Operations and Infrastructure for customer networks. As a member of the support and escalation team, you will support and develop our clients' IT Infrastructure.

Primarily performing BAU support activities including system checks, backup monitoring and resolving support incidents, the successful Engineer will play an essential part of an Azure migration project.

Additionally helping perform planning, configuration, maintenance and upgrade of systems infrastructure including Servers, associated management systems and other core infrastructure components. You will work closely with the Service Desk Team on escalated support issues.

You will primarily resolve issue remotely as well as attend customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify, liaise and manage any escalated faults with 3rd party suppliers for major incidents or network improvements.
* Provide IT support to clients either remotely or onsite maintaining communications with clients and offices by responding to support emails and phone calls in a timely manner as well as helping with project management and roll outs of new systems.
* Provide 3rd line client, server and infrastructure support to resolve escalated issues that cannot be resolved by 1st/2nd line team.
* Contribute to the development, testing and communication of disaster recovery/Business continuity plans.
* Proactively monitor customer sites and escalate developing issues.
* Manage projects designing, deploying and maintaining hosted and internal network infrastructure.
* Create documentation of entire network including configuration guides and network diagrams.
* Work closely with the IT service desk to provide BAU support via ticketing system and ongoing network management.
* Support colleagues and/or customers on allocated technologies with training /presentations

Experience:

* Minimum of 1 years' experience in an I.T. support role at a 3rd line level
* Experience of WAN/LAN infrastructure support
* Good understanding of a service management environment (ITIL)
* Flexible approach to working hours due to demanding business environment * Experience of WAN/LAN infrastructure support
* Experience with SNMP monitoring products
* Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server administration
* Microsoft Active Directory/DNS/DHCP administration
* Good oral and written communication skills including producing documentation Knowledge (Language, IT, etc)
* MCSE or equivalent
* VCP or equivalent
* CCNA or equivalent
* Cloud Services (IaaS, SaaS, Office365, Azure)
* Knowledge of Network technologies (VLANs, Routing, QoS, MPLS)
* Active Directory administration
* Microsoft server products (Exchange, TMG, SQL)
* Symantec & Veeam Backup products
