React.js Developer - Government - 6 Month Contract

Location: Remote - 1 day per week in either London, Manchester or Bristol (whichever is closest to your home location)

Rate: Up to £650 per day

The role:

A high profile, Central Government Institution are seeking an experienced Software Engineer, with demonstrable experience using React.js to develop web applications.

You will also be experienced enough with React.js to decipher, understand and refactor existing legacy code. This is an initial 6-month contract, Inside IR35 and paying up to £650 per day.

Experience requirements

* Demonstrable experience using React.js to develop web applications
* Knowledge and willingness to decipher and refactor legacy code.
* Strong experience working with spreadsheet applications such as Excel or Google Sheets
* Ability to communicate technical solutions and development terms in a simple and understandable way and adapt communication for various types of audiences
* Comfortable working independently and leading development based on user needs and to a specified brief
* Experience of balancing changing priorities and dealing with ambiguity, prioritising resources even where hard choices are required
