The role:
A leading Central Government Institution are seeking a Programme Delivery Manager, to bring together all aspects of delivery across a large, complex and diverse set of teams.
The role will entail maintaining delivery momentum, deploying strong stakeholder management skills, and coaching and leading teams in Agile and Lean practices.
Responsibilities:
* Work with multiple diverse and complex project teams to establish a combined and effective overview of delivery for the directorate. * Establish how to work as a team of teams, encompassing internal staff & 3rd party managed services. * Focus the teams to look at the big picture, ensuring a focus on delivering outcomes & benefits in line with the business case commitments, strategic objectives and roadmaps. * Manage dependencies of varying complexity, potentially planning and feeding into larger programmes and portfolios across the Product & Technology Directorate * Balance objectives, people and resources as priorities change * In depth knowledge of Agile and other methodologies * Responsible for understanding, managing and communicating to complex stakeholder groups.
