Job Description

Role: Head of Process Improvement (RPA)

Salary: up to £85,000 Benefits (depending on experience)

Contract: 18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Remote

An exciting client of ours are currently in the process of building out their RPA function, having taken on 3rd party resources to aid in this, they are now looking to build out their Centre of Excellence. They are hiring a number of roles, on of which being the Head of Process Improvement. You will play a pivotal role in managing the process analysis team who will be working across the organisation to discover, analysis and suggest processes for automation. This will be a fixed term contract initially for 18 months however due to the enormity of the work proposed, this is highly likely to be extended.

The Head of Process Improvement role also offers the ability to work completely remotely for the entire duration of the contract, however you will need to be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK (this role does not offer sponsorship)

This is an excellent opportunity to take a team early in its conception and shape it how you see fit. The team currently consists of 3 BA's but plans are in place to grow the team with Process Improvement Analysts with a focus on RPA. You will need to have experience across the entire RPA life cycle from discovery, creating PDD's after analysing the suitability of RPA and contributing to SDD's. The Head of Process Improvement should also have a background in project management along with the ability to work strategically across different business units improving processes through technical and non-technical solutions.

Essential Experience - Head of Process Improvement

* A proven track record and experience in a process improvement analysis with extensive process mapping / diagnostic experience
* Experience of using automation to improve processes; ideally UiPath or Automation Anywhere
* Project Management and change management experience
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience and articulate and demonstrate quantifiable improvements in efficiencies and productivity
* Ability to manage a team effectively and drive change within an organisation
* Strong problem-solving/analytical skills

Desirable Experience - Head of Process Improvement

* Extensive experience in a lean / six-sigma function, Lean Black Belt certified
* A background in Business Process Management (BPM)
* Previously involved in the building and development of an RPA Centre of Excellence (CoE)
* Previous experience working with resources from 3rd parties and consultancies both onshore and offshore
