Job title: Lead DevOps Engineer

Salary: £80,000 to £87,000 Benefits

Contract/Permanent: Permanent

Location: Remote or options to work at Head Office based in London or Edinburgh (right to work in the UK is required)



We are looking for a DevOps Specialist to join a rapidly growing client of ours to assist them in building and maintaining their infrastructure, monitoring, pipelines, tools and API's.



The Lead DevOps Engineer will need to have had experience building scalable, highly available deployment architecture on AWS and ideally will also have worked with Terraform and Docker. The Lead DevOps Engineer will be working with Lumen and Laravel applications, utilizing NodeJS and Python Lamba functions to optimise and analyse performance.



The Lead DevOps Engineer role is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation early on in its journey and shape the direction of the DevOps team, both technically and as you build out a team below you.



Essential Experience - Lead DevOps Engineer

* Experience building, managing a substational application with HA, spike traffic and automatic scaling ideally
* Architected complex solutions with both Laravel and Lumen API's
* Experience deploying solutions withing severlesses environment - AWS ECS (Fargate & EC2-backed) Event driven programming
* IaaC projects using Terraform or similar eg Cloud formation
* Github
* Previous experience leading major projects
* Excellent communication skill both written and verbal

Desirable Experience - Lead DevOps Engineer

* Lamba
* Python / NodeJS
* Aurora databasesAWS ECS
* AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certifications
