An exciting Consultancy are looking to bring in a Software Development Lead to initially help ensure the successful delivery of a key project for a key Government agency client and following this will play an integral role in future projects. The Software Development Lead will need to be a problem solver who can collaborate effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders alongside the multi-disciplinary technical teams all to ensure in the delivery of innovative solutions. The Software Development Lead will need to have clear verbal and written communication skills to ensure transparency across the team.
Responsibilities for the Software Development Lead:
* Condense a 12-form programme onto 1 platform for a Government Agency * Involved in designing architecture for solutions * Hands on coding * Mentor a team of 4 Technical Leads * Lead a project with 50-100 people involved * Set a standard on quality through the SDLC * Understand and mitigate client issues * Analyse the risks of new project ideas * Always have a process improvement mindset * Communicate clearly with senior internal and external stakeholders * Perform TDD * Agile
Essential Skills for the Software Development Lead:
* React * Node * TypeScript or JavaScript * TDD * Lead project teams of 20 people or more * Client Management experience
