Back-End Developer - 3 Month Contract - £600 per day

Location: Remote

Rate: Up to £600 per day

IR35: Inside

The role:

A backend developer to work alongside front-end developers, to create comprehensive digital solutions. This role is part of a large Government Digital Transformation programme and is Inside of IR35. Government experience is a bonus.

Essential Criteria:

* Experience of working within technical development teams working in an agile environment
* 5 years solid development experience
* Experience of REST/JSON, YAML SOAP/XML, Swagger
* Development of microservices
* Good understanding of the principles of writing clean code
* Ability to review user stories and to participate in review and sizing
* Experience in large agile programmes, ideally including public sector
* Wide experience of automated test tools for Unit testing
* Git, Docker and a good understanding of development pipelines
* Java 11 & SpringBoot micro-service development
* JPA / Hibernate
* RESTful APIs / OpenAPI 3
* Linux shell
* Containerization (Docker)
* SQL / RDBMS

Desirable Criteria:

* Cloud (AWS, Cloud Foundry)
* Terraform
