Contract: Inside IR35
We are working with a growing Managed Service Provider who are looking to recruit a Contract School Based IT Support Technician on an initial 12 month basis. The role is 5 days a week onsite and is paying up to Â£190 a day inside IR35.
Responsibilities of the IT Support Technician:
* Provide effective and efficient communication across all levels of the business * Provide 1st Line and 2nd Line support to all users of technology * Set up, deploy and re-image desktops and hardware. * To ensure anti-virus updates and Microsoft Security updates are kept current on schools' networks
Requirements for the IT Support Technician role:
* Strong background within the IT support industry * MS Office experience (with MS Access preferred) * Mobile technology (tablets & smartphones using Android & IOS) * Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, Switches, DHCP & DNS) * Ability to identify hardware/operating system problems and provide a simple report * Active Directory Management * Knowledge of filtering and safeguarding software deployed and its uses * Demonstrate a working knowledge of Windows based software * Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and Windows 10, Apple & IOS operating systems * MS Office experience (with MS Access preferred) * Networking and Communications Troubleshooting experience * Active Directory, Group Policy and Server builds and configurations management * Microsoft Windows operating systems and their use in a local area network environment * Cisco and D-Link networking technology
