A market leading client of mine that are currently undergoing an IT Change and Transformation Programme across the business are looking for an IT Service Manager to join their team. The IT Service Manager will be part of a growing function and be given the opportunity to spearhead future enhancements.
Over the last few years, the business has considerably grown and the pandemic had very little impact on them. They are investing large amounts of money into the business to allow them to continue growing and therefore the successful IT Service Manager will have a great chance to work for a stable, secure and growing organisation.
The role of IT Service Manager will be responsible for acting as a bridge between the IT Support, Infrastructure, Architecture and Security teams to understand their objectives and ensure they align with each other and the wider business needs. The IT Service Manager will also be required to liaise with senior stakeholders and users within the business to ensure the technologies are being utilised to their full extent and understanding any issues being faced. The IT Service Manager will then be required to create strategic plans and clear roadmaps to ensure any issues are fixed and there are clear service improvement plans to increase efficiency within the organisation.
