Job Title: IT Business Continuity Analyst Salary: up to £60,000 Bonus Benefits Location: remote but may need to be onsite in Cambridgeshire once a month
A very exciting Financial Client who embarking on a large digital change and transformation programme with a data driven focus is looking for an IT Business Continuity Analyst to assist in this journey. The IT Business Continuity Analyst will be supporting the development, maintenance and improvement of their Operational Resilience framework.
Responsibilities for the IT Business Continuity Analyst:
* Assist in owning Operational Resilience for the firm * Engage with stakeholders across the firm to ensure important business services are identified, prioritised and mapped to operational dependencies * Deliver and embed a framework that can continue to be developed and enhanced * Undertake Business Impact Analysis activities to identify, document and identify improvement opportunities in relation to the people, processes, technology, facilities and information * Assess industry best practice and new developments * Continuously reviewing and improving the Operational Resilience plans and processes * Plan exercises to improve Operational Resilience capabilities through scenario testing and identifying potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement * Produce information and support reporting to the Operational Resilience Working Group and other governing bodies * Mitigate action plans escalating to senior management where delays in delivery of agreed actions are experienced
Essential Skills for the IT Business Continuity Analyst: The successful IT Business Continuity Manager will have experience with the following:
* Business Continuity Management * Produce and deliver failover testing scenarios * Business Impact Analysis * Cyber Incident Resilience * Stakeholder management * Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills for the IT Business Continuity Analyst: It will be beneficial if you have experience or knowledge of any of the below:
* Awareness of IT Disaster Recovery * Awareness of financial regulations/FCA * Awareness of cybersecurity and landscape threats * EU Banking authorities * Risk management * Financial Services
