Title: IT Engineer (3rd Line)

Salary: Upto £50,000 Benefits

Working Hours : 8:30am - 5:30pm

THE JOB:

The role of a 3rd Line Engineer:

* Working with multiple technologies and getting hands on experience with them
* Troubleshooting a wide array of 3rd Line issues using technologies including O365, VMware, Azure and many others
* Get hands on experience with bespoke technologies
* Handling complex 3rd line/infrastructure problems
* Be the point of contact for complex troubleshooting issues and involves problem solving at the highest level
* Management of the internal Infrastructure
* Work on projects in addition to BAU work

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

Essential Skills:

* Office 365 - Knowledge of/involved in an On Prem to cloud-based migration and general BAU support
* MS Azure - Experience within the environment and troubleshooting ability
* PowerShell - Understanding of how to use and why you are using it
* Experience providing support both On Premise and in the Cloud

Additional Technical experience that is desired:

* Working in an MSP environment
* Experience within a fast-paced environment
* Network - Set up networks including vLAN - understand difference between source net and destination net
* VMware/Hyper-V - Installation and configuration - server in SAN
* Linux experience
* Any Microsoft Certifications

Soft Skills:

* Reliable - can work in a team but also by themselves
* Team player
* Customer Service - clear communication skills and able to articulate easily
