Rate: £700 per day

IR35: Inside

Location: Remote / London

The role:

A leading Government Institution are seeking a credible Head of Live Service for an initial 12-month contract (remote). You will ideally have ITIL4 or ITIL V3 with active SC Clearance.

This is a multifaceted leadership role that will be key in supporting the design, development and implementation of our clients Service Model to support the Target Operating Model.

* Global Business Services (GBS) qualifications and experience
* Agile and Prince II
* DevSecOps

Responsibilities:

* Support the implementation of and maintenance of service policies, processes and procedures.
* Support the transition of IT Services from the current business unit to Digital Data & Technology.
* Support the establishment of service governance and assurance.
* Support the design, development and implementation of our Service Model to support the target Operating Model.
* Have the knowledge and experience to support the transition of services to internal and external providers if required.
* Have input into contract negotiation and responsibility for ongoing commercial management of all suppliers.
* Support the development and strategic management of service catalogues, SLAs and road-maps for both internal and external suppliers
* Provide an end-to-end view of the service, on a rolling basis, by integrating, aggregating and consolidating data.
* Chairing and managing Service Reviews with the customers of the programme
* Oversee Incident, Problem, Relationship and Supplier management processes
* Manage services availability and capacity coordination
* Support the development of demand management processes
* Support the ITSCM process to achieve continuity of service
* Act as an escalation point for service incidents
