Head of Estates Engineering - Contract IR35: Inside Duration: 3 months Ext Location: Cambridge Hours: 37.5
The Estates and Facilities Strategic responsibilities are to develop and implement methodologies and practices to enable the Division to adopt and practice a Quality Assurance Management Regime. This will be based upon professional and technical excellence, sound protocols for Corporate Management including Risk Management in the delivery of quality healthcare.
Responsibilities for the Head of Estates Engineering:
* The Head of Estates Engineering will therefore be expected to fully participate in the promotion and adoption of these objectives both within his/her Division and in support of, and working with, colleagues heading the other divisions of the Directorate. * In collaboration with other Estates and Facilities Departments, the Head of Estates Engineering will ensure that agreed objectives in support of the Trust's Strategic and Operational Service Plan together with the Estate Business and Operational Plan are delivered within the agreed timeframes. * The Head of Estates Engineering will support the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities - Engineering, in-conjunction with other Divisional Heads, in the preparation of the Estate's Strategic and Operational Plan/s. * Senior management responsibilities
In execution of specific functions, the Head of Estates Engineering will ensure:
* Support for the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities in the preparation of the Estates Strategic, and Operational Plan/s. * In conjunction with the Performance Compliance Division and Capital planning and developments division he/she will ensure that any changes associated with the maintenance and/or alteration of the Estates assets which effect the Policies, Protocols and Operating Procedures in accordance with the Estate Operational Plan, is amended and /or updated in a timely manner. * Participate and support the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities - Engineering in assessing and completing Strategic and Operational Risk Management in the development of maintenance of the Estates assets including input to Capital and Major Proposals, relative to the Trust's Strategic Plan and the Estates Control Plan. * Assistance to the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities - Engineering in the development of business cases for specific schemes. * Advise the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities - Engineering on the potential impact of any Statutory or Mandatory Requirements which affect the Estate and operational aspects of the Directorate.
