Position: 2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Location: Fully onsite in East London

Salary: up to £37,038 Benefits

Contract/Permanent: Permanent

Working Hours: 35 Hour working week, flexible between 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm

An exciting organisation are looking to bring in a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to help support a number of clients within the Education industry. The 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will be involved in a number of projects such as a Windows updates and Office 365 implementations.

The 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will be joining an organisation who pride themselves on growth opportunities and progression. In the role of 2nd Line IT Support Engineer you will work with senior team members giving you the ability to pick up new skills and develop your career in IT. To be successful, the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will need to have experience in Active Directory.

Responsibilities for the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:

* Deploying software using SCCM
* Teams deployments
* Migrating to Windows 11
* Apply policies to accounts
* Set up laptops
* Implement Office 365
* Support Active Directory, Office 365, Intune, OneDrive, Teams, Azure Active Directory, Google Suite, networking and gain experience with PowerShell

Essential Skills for the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:

* Active Directory - creating group policies
* SCCM - deploying software
* Office 365 - OneDrive and Teams
* Wi-Fi - configuring access points
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Skills for the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:

* Education experience
* Azure Active Directory
* Intune
* PowerShell
* Google Suite
* Microsoft products for education
