THE JOB:
The role of a 2nd Line Engineer:
*
Working with multiple technologies and getting hands on experience with them *
Troubleshooting a wide array of 2nd Line issues using technologies including O365 and Active Directory as well as Ticketing systems *
Get hands on experience with bespoke technologies *
Handling multiple tickets on a daily basis *
Be the point of contact for troubleshooting issues and involves problem solving at the highest level *
Offering face to face and telephonic support to users *
Manage ticket queues and prioritise problems
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
Essential Skills:
*
2nd Line Experience *
Office 365 - account management *
Active Directory - Creating accounts / permissions / adding and removing users / password resets *
Used any Ticketing System (Fresh Service or ServiceNow are being used) *
Understanding of Azure and cloud computing *
Network knowledge of LAN / WAN / DNS / Firewalls *
Excellent customer service skills and ability to relay technical conversations to end users
Additional Technical experience that is desired:
*
Understanding of Exchange - creating accounts *
Office 365 - license management *
Endpoint management experience *
ITIL Qualified
Soft Skills:
*
Reliable - can work in a team but also by themselves *
Team Player *
Communication skills - client facing role and stakeholder management
