The role - Digital Content Designer:

A Central Government Organisation is looking for an experienced, SC Cleared Digital Content Designer to join their Digital Design team.



The Digital Content Designer will support on agile and user-centred design projects, working with senior designers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.



Your new role



Your main day to day responsibilities as the Content Designer will include:



* understanding the Content Design maturity of selected programmes
* developing targeted recommendations for raising Content Design maturity
* running projects aiming at raising Content Design maturity
* collaborating with the User Research, Service Design, Product Management and Delivery Management professions in assessing maturity, developing recommendations and running projects to raise capability



What you'll need to succeed as the Digital Content Designer



* experience designing services according to the GDS Service Standard, especially at Discovery and Alpha (essential)
* experience with GDS Service Standard assessments (essential)
* experience working in a multi-disciplinary team with other UCD, Product and Delivery professionals (essential)
* experience planning projects from a Content Design perspective, and coordinating with other professions to ensure high-quality and timely delivery (essential)
* experience delivering typical Content Design assets in multi-disciplinary projects (such as style guides, information architecture, content audits) (essential)
* experience presenting Content Design and UCD concepts to audiences without a Design background (essential)
