A Leading Government Institution are seeking a Data Governance Lead Consultant, to help establish and mature data management and governance capabilities.
In this role you will take a technical and strategic view of the processes, methodologies, architecture and good practice from experience of delivering these within other organisations.
This is an initial 6-month contract, remote based with excellent scope for extension.
Role requirements:
* Experience as a data management/data governance consultant or change specialist establishing and maturing data management and governance capabilities * Engaging technical and business stakeholders, gaining their trust and advocacy for improving the way in which an organisation understands, manages, protects and exploits data. * Excellent workshop planning and execution skills and be capable of communicating at all levels through written word and through developing pictures that clearly summarise what are often complex, misunderstood and often emotional subjects. * Solid understanding of data, key management and governance principles, from Conceptual Architectures (Business and Technical), Policy, Data Privacy, Data Governance, Data Quality, Meta Data, et al. * Expertise in Business Change/Transformation and above all you will have hands on experience and the scars to prove that you made data management good practices stick.
