Infrastructure Engineer - Shoreditch - Up to £55,000 - Hybrid - Benefits
A global organisation, noted as one of the fastest growing companies in Europe, are currently restructuring and revamping their Infrastructure team and have created a brand-new vacancy for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their collaborative work environment.
This is a hybrid role and the successful Engineer will be required to go into office as a minimum of two times a month; should you wish to be in office more frequently, you are also welcome to do so.
The essential skills for the Infrastructure Engineer are:
* 2 Years' System Administration experience * Ownership over Microsoft Domain Controllers in a Windows Server 2016/2019 environment * Extensive Group Policy Management experience * Firewall management - Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper and Fortigate * Familiar with best documentation practices * Communication and stakeholder skills (technical and non-technical)
The desirable skills for the Infrastructure Engineer are:
* PowerShell scripting from scratch * Experience with Ansible (Configuration etc) * Appreciation for DevOps and Automation practices * Finance Background
On a soft skills level, they are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who can work to urgent requirements and is calm under pressure, as well as someone who enjoys working with a team and is motivated by training and new technologies.
