2nd Line Engineer - £33,00 - £38,000 - Liverpool Street
My client, a Managed Service Provider are looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to join their team. This role offers the chance of internal growth opportunities as well as working with a wide range of technologies. As a 2nd Line Engineer you will be working in a client facing role ensuring that disruption is restored quickly using a variety of technologies.
As a 2nd Line Engineer, you will be expected to provide a high quality of support to clients on technologies such as Microsoft Desktop, Microsoft Server and Mac Devices.
Main Duties of a 2nd Line Engineer:
* Providing high quality 1st and 2nd Line Support to a variety of issues and projects * Following a ticketing system to ensure all tickets are completed in a timely manner to SLAs * Travelling to different client sites when required * You will ensure that daily checklists on clients are completed and any issues are then reported and resolved effectively by the 3rd Line Support team
Essential Skills of a 2nd Line Engineer:
* Office 365 - administration, group polices and distributions lists * Veeam - back up experience * VoIP - troubleshooting and hunt groups * Microsoft Server - 2016 - 2019 * Ticketing System - ConnectWise * Mac OS - troubleshooting * Excellent communication and organisational skills
My client is looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to have the above skills and experience, where there is also the opportunity to develop these further. You will need to be an ambitious individual with a strong drive to learn.
Desirable skills of a 2nd Line Engineer:
* VMware - building & managing * VoIP - 3CX * Mac - Mac devices & servers * Experience working within Managed Service Provider * Certifications such as MCP, MCSA or CCNA
