An exciting client of mine who are based in Reading are looking to hire an IT Manager to become a key part of the team and enable the organisation to complete exciting projects and improve the Service Desk as it continues to grow.
You will be responsible for the day to day management and training of the 1st/2nd Service Desk team, achieving company KPIs and also finding solutions to improve overall resolution rates. This role would also be suitable for someone who has been in a Service Desk Team Lead or another Managerial Position within IT.
The IT Manager has a huge amount of potential to grow with the business and also the scope to move into a Head of IT / Director role in the future and to be given shares in the organisation.
Key Skills for the IT Manager:
* IT Team Lead/Manager Background * Comfortable providing L1/L2 support * IT Security - Firewalls, VPNs, LAN&WAN * Office 365 - Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams etc * Active Directory - Group policy, account management etc * Understanding of Resolution rates / Service Desk KPI's and how to improve them * Understanding of Intune

Desirable Skills for the IT Manager :
* Experience with Azure * Knowledge of the MS 365 suite * Previous MSP experience
