A leading Central Government Organisation are seeking a highly credible Benefits Manager, to ensure benefits are aligned to strategy, following a technology department merger. A benefits specialist is required to assist the programme with development of their benefits and contributing this expertise to relevant cases for change and formal business cases.
This is a 6-month contract that requires SC Clearance and is Inside IR35
Experience requirements & Responsibilities:
* Able to lead on external engagement with senior stakeholders, both within and outside the programme, to develop a documented understanding and "buy-in" around the benefits figures of the programme. * Experienced at managing the benefits management approach. * Comfortable updating documents such as a benefits statement and benefits realisation plan * Able to challenge benefits owners and submissions to assess robustness and achievability and undertake sense checking including overlaps. * Experienced at liaising with core finance teams to adopt the benefits forecast into the overall budget baseline. * Line management experience of up to one staff member.
