We are working with an industry leading client who are looking to bring in a new AV Engineer to help with their client support. With the ever-increasing number of superyacht installations they complete, they are looking to employ a full-time AV Engineer to head up their Marine Support service.
The AV Engineers' responsibilities will consist of providing remote assistance to their clients. Ideally the AV Engineer will be comfortable using Crestron or Lutron systems and have some experience in working in specialised marine environments. Working closely with the onboard ETO, you should have the ability to multi-task and an ability to prioritise workload, be a team player and willing to take on additional ad-hoc duties.
Essential skills - AV Engineer:
* Experience within marine AV/lighting/data installations. * Technical knowledge of the installation of electronic audio-visual systems (Crestron, Lutron, KNX and Control4). * An understanding of network infrastructures and protocols. * Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. * Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise work and deliver solutions to clients. * A can-do attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done right. * Passionate about AV/IT work and are committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
Desirable skills - AV Engineer:
* Understanding Schematics * Experience of programme debugging * Linux experience * MacOS experience * High-end hospitality/ VIP Support
