Position: 3rd Line Engineer Location: Central London Salary: £50,000 Benefits Contract/Permanent: Permanent
Working Hours The working hours are on a rota basis from 8am-6pm with the shifts being 8am-4:30pm, 9am-5:30pm and 9:30-6pm. They work on a hybrid working scheme meaning you only have to commute into the office 3 days a week, and work remotely for 2 days.
The Candidate
They are looking for an organised individual who has clear written and verbal communication skills. The role will require visits to customer sites depending on the needs and requirements of the business, for this position it can be up to 2 days a week, all travel will be within Central London and will be reimbursed.
You will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced and engaging environment it provides good opportunities to learn new technology and further your skills. You will need to have a good troubleshooting knowledge of Desktops and Microsoft Office as well as having experience in both on-premises and Azure Active Directory.
Responsibilities of the 3rd Line Engineer will include:
* Project work - such as a migration to SharePoint, 0 Trust migration within Azure, on-premises to cloud migrations and decommission of servers * BAU - such as managing tickets and escalating any issues to the 3rd Line Engineers * Travelling to client sites
Key Skills of the 3rd Line Engineer:
* Office 365 - Troubleshooting experience, as well as user administration such as adding and deleting users, resetting passwords, managing distribution lists and solving Mailflow issues * Active Directory - experience using both on-premises and Azure Active Directory including automation process and conditional access policies * Previous experience in delivering projects * Clear written and verbal communication skills
Desirable (but not essential) Skills of the 3rd Line Engineer:
* MAC OS skills - using MS Office, Adobe and Creative Cloud * MSP experience * Working within a Virtualised environment (preferably Hyper-V) * An understanding of Cisco Meraki * Networking experience - DHCP, DNS and an understanding of vLANs
