x2 2nd/3rd Line Infrastructure Engineers - up to £40,000 Benefits - Staines/Hybrid
I am currently working with a Managed Service Provider who are on the rise and looking for two 2nd / 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineers to join their growing team. In this role, you will help with Service Desk tickets whilst also being exposed to many projects both internally and on client sites.
To be suitable for this 2nd /3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer, you will need to have experience supporting end users both remotely and onsite whilst being eager to develop your skillset when working with different technologies and gaining exposure to countless industries.
The successful candidates will be taking support queries via telephone calls, emails as well as remote based tools. You will be supporting both internal end users and client bases which includes VIP support. You will be supporting SMEs across the country but primarily in the South East of the UK.
MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE AND ACCESS TO A VEHICLE
Essential Experience for the 2nd/3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer
The successful 2nd /3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer will have administrative and troubleshooting (and some deployment) experience with:
* Windows Server - Unlocking accounts and password resets * Office 365 - Understanding how it works, supporting core Applications including OneDrive and Teams * SharePoint - Permissions and syncing * Networking - Working with routers and switches etc * Active Directory - Unlocking accounts, password resets and setting permissions for different groups etc * Hardware - Printers, desktops and laptops etc * Windows Operating Systems - 2012 onwards * Working with Virtualisation Systems - Hyper-V, VMWare or similar
Within this role, there will be development plans to further increase your knowledge through certifications, on the job training and having companies teach you about their systems first-hand. The right Engineer will have an opportunity to advance to a fully 3rd Line role, heading up installations and leading teams for projects that are on the increase - given the number of additional clients being secured.
