Role: 2nd Line Support Engineer

Location: Reading - Onsite

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 Benefits

An organisation based in Reading who have just come off the back of a record year currently have a fantastic opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer. The 2nd Line Support Engineer will provide day to day end user support for the users in the office and remote, supporting them on both hardware and software issues.

This company are looking for an 2nd Line Support Engineer who is has a strong base of knowledge and is looking to join a close and supportive team where they will work with a variety of technologies and to get involved with project work. There are various ways for you to build on your current skill set with plenty of opportunities for training and progression, the organisation actively promotes and supports the completion of certifications.

Key Skills for the 2nd Line Support Engineer:

* Active Directory - Creation/Deletion of accounts, password resets etc
* Office 365 - user support for Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive
* Windows 10 - troubleshooting and supporting desktops
* Experience with Ticketing Systems
* Understanding of ITIL
* Great communication skills
* Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical users and provide excellent customer service

Desirable Skills for the 2nd Line Support Engineer:

* Basic understanding of networking - VPN / WAN / LAN etc
* Any knowledge/experience with cloud technologies such as Azure AD
* Understanding of Stock Management
* Experience with using ServiceNow
* Certifications/Qualifications - eg ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA, MCSA
