Working hours: 9-5 hybrid minimum 2 days in office
We are working for a charity who are looking to bring in a 2nd Line Support Engineer to run the helpdesk que. The successful 2nd Line Support Engineer will be someone who is a confident communicator that can be assertive in reason.
As the 2nd Line Support Engineer you will be joining an organisation who are currently going through a cloud transformation project which you might get involved in! The 2nd Line Support Engineers main responsibilities will be dealing with tickets (averaging 15 a day), speaking with users, carrying out mailbox configurations and adding users to distribution list.
Essential skills - 2nd Line Support Engineer:
* Azure Active Directory - User administration (onboarding/offboarding users, password resets, distribution lists) * Office 365 - Administrate mailboxes (ideally exchange) * SharePoint administration * Someone who can hold a conversation * Confidence/Assertive * Someone who can set users expectations * Couple years experience
Desirables - 2nd Line Support Engineer:
* Networking - patching, ports, switches * 2nd Line Support Experience * Certifications - Microsoft (MCP, MCSA, Azure Fundamentals/ Administrator, Solution Architect) * Managed Service Provider experience
