Location: Split between Bracknell office and working from home
Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 Benefits
Working hours: Shift - Between 6am to 10pm, inc weekend work
We are working with a world leading organisation based in Bracknell who are looking for a number of 2nd Line IT Support Engineers to join their team.
The successful 2nd Line Engineer will be providing Desktop support to the users, handle escalations from the Service Desk and troubleshoot application and hardware issues. You will also support users with Windows and MAC devices and need to be capable of picking up new skills; coupled with having a passion for IT.
This role will require you to be able to report into office full time, work shifts and on the weekend. There will be occasional weekend working.
The 2nd Line Engineer will need to have experience in some of the following technologies:
* Windows 7 or 10 * Active Directory - password resets * Office 365 - Office Suite support and troubleshooting * Office 365 / Outlook - user / mailbox management and troubleshooting * The Google Suite - Gmail, google docs etc * Networking knowledge - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP * Printer and hardware support * Mobile phone support * Antivirus support and management * Remote support tools * Backups and disaster recovery * Security patches * Windows Server
This is an excellent opportunity for someone, either in a 2nd Line position or, looking to take their next step up from 1st Line Support. Along with having experience in some of the technologies outlined below, my client is also looking for someone who is confident and has excellent communication as this position will require a lot of customer facing, and more so than ever, over-the-phone support.
It would be great if the 2nd Line Engineer has experience in the following:
* Retail / EPOS Systems * Microsoft or Cisco certified * ITIL Certified
