Working Hours: 35 Hour working week, flexible between 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm
An exciting organisation are looking to bring in a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to help support a number of clients within the Education industry. The 1st Line IT Support Engineer will be involved in a number of projects such as a Windows updates and Office 365 implementations.
The 1st Line IT Support Engineer will be joining an organisation who pride themselves on growth opportunities and progression. In the role of 1st Line IT Support Engineer you will work with senior team members giving you the ability to pick up new skills and develop your career in IT. To be successful, the 1st Line IT Support Engineer will need to have extensive experience in Active Directory.
Responsibilities for the 1st Line IT Support Engineer:
* Active Directory - creating accounts and managing user permissions * Cabling * TV and system wiring * Support multiple clients
Essential Skills for the 1st Line IT Support Engineer:
* Active Directory - user administration * Knowledge of how to deploy software * Previous helpdesk/service desk experience or has completed a Degree or IT training course * Knowledge of the Office 365 suite * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Skills for the 1st Line IT Support Engineer:
* Education experience * Active Directory - creating group policies * Deployed software * Office 365 - experience with OneDrive and Teams * Wi-Fi - configuring access points
