Commute: First 6 weeks - 5 days per week onsite then after 6 weeks and on the condition that they are fully trained - 3 days per week onsite.
An exciting client of mine is looking to bring in a 1st Line IT Support Engineer, who will have the ability to progress within the organisation to a 3rd Line Engineer or have the ability to move into a different team if that is of interest to you.
Responsibilities for 1st Line IT Support Engineer:
* Working on a Service Desk * Dealing with issues over the phone, remotely and face to face * Troubleshooting and dealing with issues * Speaking to internal and external users * Escalate issues to 2nd line if required * In 12 months, they hope the 1st Line IT Support Engineer will be able to move into a 2nd line role * They will assist with training courses and certifications
Essential Skills for 1st Line IT Support Engineer:
* Passion for IT * Good Communication skills - both written and verbal * Time management
Desirable Skills for 1st Line IT Support Engineer:
* Commercial experience within IT * Active Directory - resetting passwords and managing users * Office 365 - basic administration using Outlook and Word * Any background studying IT
