Telecoms Support Engineer - Location: City of London - Salary: £20,000 - £25,000

My client, a growing Managed Service Provider are looking for Telecoms Support Engineer to join their team. This role offers great internal training opportunities and career development. As a Telecoms Support Engineer you will be working in a client facing role ensuring that any disruptions are handled and normal service is restored as quickly as possible using a variety of technologies which will involve travelling to client sites when necessary.

As a Telecoms Support Engineer, you will be expected to provide high quality support to clients on a range of technologies such as Avaya IP and Gamma products.

Main Duties of a Telecoms Support Engineer:

Provide high quality 1st to 2nd Line Support for a variety of issues and projects, including occasional onsite support
*

Logging tickets and escalating when necessary
*

Working on projects when necessary

Essential Skills of a Telecoms Support Engineer:

*

Avaya IP - IP Office 1st Line Support
*

Gamma - Horizon or SIP
*

Knowledge of VoIP or SIP concepts
*

Good written and verbal communication skills

My client is looking for the Telecoms Support Engineer to have the above skills and experience with the opportunity to develop these skills further with extensive on the job training and the ability to go on a range of external training courses. You will need to be an ambitious individual with a strong drive to learn. The successful candidate will also be part of a sociable and close-knit Telecoms team.
