Senior Project Manager - Up To £72,000 Bonus Benefits - South West London

A leading financial institution that are currently embarking on a huge Agile transformation require a seasoned a Senior Project Manager to join their IT team to ensure the successful delivery of key business outcomes. The Senior Project Manager will plan and deliver all projects within timescale and budget and ensure alignment with the business' requirements and priorities. The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for a team of Project Managers and Project Support Officers to ensure high quality work though assurance activities.

As a rapidly growing business with an evolving business model the Senior Project Manager will define and create project plans and then track the project status whilst managing project teams to mitigate issues and risks throughout the lifecycle of every project. In addition, the Senior Project Manager will work closely with business sponsors to define criteria and monitor all checkpoint activities throughout the project lifecycles.

The Senior Project Manager must ensure relevant stakeholders are updated on project status, all projects are successfully delivered and meet ROI targets whilst engaging and managing 3rd party relationships.

Key Skills - Senior Project Manager:

* Previously worked as a Project Manager within IT
* Strong stakeholder management abilities with gravitas to gain buy in
* Proven track record of project management and on time under budget delivery
* High understanding of the Agile SDLC
* Experience of having at least one direct report and choaching/mentoring them
* Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills

Desirable Skills - Senior Project Manager:

* Experience working on portfolio and project management tools - Visio, Clarity, MS Project, ect.
* Project Management related certifications
* Previous financial experience
