Job Description

Programme Manager (Banking) - 6 Month Contract - Up to £750 per day

Programme Manager, with a broad range of experience working in large-scale technology based projects within Financial Services, is required by a leading Financial Services organisation based in Central London, on an initial 6 month contract basis.

Working within a central functions teams, the Programme Manager will be required to provide Programme directorship in a complex multi project environment/portfolio management, although in a delivery focused capacity. Working closely with other Project/Programme Managers, you will bring your expert stakeholder management skills to the table, keeping a close steer on a multitude of in-flight programmes, involving a range of CRM, Digital, Platform Integration work, all at various stages of their project lifecycle.

Experience Requirements:


Programme Management/Directorship in a complex multi project environment/portfolio management in a delivery focused capacity

Financial Services/Banking pedigree

Proven track record of successful delivery of large scale complex programmes

Experience of delivering complex technical change

Ability to grasp issues of a business nature and assess the technical impact, and vice versa

Stakeholder management at the highest level, with the ability to influence accordingly

Experience of delivering programmes and projects using an Agile approach

Role Requirements:


Key areas of delivery will include but not be limited to -

Motivate, drive and lead a mix of Senior Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of a range of technology and business transformational change initiatives

Build excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Create and enforce best practice for delivery

Full life cycle programme/project management from initiation to review (Currently multiple Programmes/Projects)

Identify, lead and develop team to ensure delivery of initiatives

Working with and reporting to senior stakeholders
