Product Owner - £54,000 Benefits - Sittingbourne - Fixed Term Contract

A market leading organisation are looking for a Product Owner to join the business on 2 years fixed term contract to work on the end-to-end launch of two applications. These will add to the business's product offering, allowing better access and increased communication for customers. The role of Product Owner is a brand-new role to the business and is therefore yours to define; this is an excellent opportunity to join a company undergoing tremendous digital change.


* Engaging with internal stakeholders at various levels to identify opportunities for new developments and innovation and understanding requirements.
* Creating product concepts with the designers/wider teams
* Utilising data to analyse product usage to identify gaps & opportunities
* Being the visible advocate for products; updating relevant stakeholder on progress and hosting product demonstrations
* Working closely with the customer experience and end user support teams to produce clear product specifications and designs
* Continuously engaging the product/project team and other stakeholders to ensure the team is building the right product

Product Owner - Key Skills:

* Previous experience working as a Product Owner
* Experience dealing with stakeholders
* Experience managing a release of a new technical product
* Good understanding of user experience, user journeys, backlogs, MVPs, dataflows & shaping projects
* Passionate about technology and how it can impact our product growth
* Excellent communication skills

Product Owner - Desirable Skills:

* Leadership experience
* Working in an Agile environment
