2nd Line Engineer - Up to £34,000 Benefits - Central London
An innovative and creative client of mine based in a prime location in the city are looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to join their existing team. It is a great opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer to come into a great organisation where they can develop their skill sets, gain bespoke training and work on numerous projects within the business.
The 2nd Line Engineer will be responsible for providing support on the service desk to a variety of different users ranging from technical to non-technical and helping the 3rd Line and Infrastructure team with various escalations and projects.
Key Skills for the 2nd Line Engineer:
* Active Directory - creating, managing users and password resets * In-depth experience with Mac - troubleshooting experience and knowledge with terminal * Office 365 - distribution lists, user set ups and group set ups * Windows Server experience from 2008r2 - 2019 * Telephony Systems experience - Ideally Mitel
Desirable Skills for the 2nd Line Engineer:
* EPOS / PDQ experience * Experience with the ticketing system Fresh Service * Worked in an ITIL environment
The successful candidate for the 2nd Line Engineer position will need to be proactive, able to prioritise and manage workload and can demonstrate empathy to a diverse user base. The 2nd Line Engineer will have the opportunity to progress their skill set and throughout the organisation.
