Job Title: Level 3 Network Support Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000
Working for a growing well-established business, the Level 3 Network Support Engineer will join a vibrant and supportive team, providing 3rd Line Support for all change requests and fault cases. In the role of the Level 3 Network Support Engineer you will be very hands on, liaising with clients directly identifying new faults and providing updates on existing cases.
Responsibilities for the Level 3 Network Support Engineer:
* The ability to prioritise and manage fault cases, providing efficient solutions meeting clients SLA's * Working alongside the 1st and 2nd Line Engineers dealing with higher level escalations * Taking responsibility for all cases, using Salesforce system to log all fault cases and change requests, updating the system with any progresses * Reporting all faults to clients and managing the methods used to carry out the projects
Essential Skills for the Level 3 Network Support Engineer:
* 3-4 Years' experience in Networking * Juniper or Cisco accreditation to at least JNCIS or CCNP level * ISP (Layer 2 Experience) * Great knowledge of VPLS and STP * Great knowledge of BGP within an ISP environment
Desirable Skills for the Level 3 Network Support Engineer:
* Good knowledge in OSPF within an ISP environment * Experience previously with Fortinet Fortigate chassis * Experience previously with Cisco chassis and Juniper EX/SRX/MX
