An exciting client of mine that are currently undergoing an IT Change and Transformation Programme across the business and are looking for a Head of PMO in to join their team. The Head of PMO will be responsible for overseeing all the procedures, activities and processes to deliver all IT projects and programmes to the business' standards.
The Head of PMO will have up to 3 direct reports whilst managing an Agile IT roadmap that will adapt according to changes within the business' priorities and investments. The Head of PMO will also be responsible for planning and managing financing in relation to Investment and IT budgets.
The Head of PMO will manage the PMO team to initially develop the entire PMO function and then continue to improve it by communicating the portfolio status, risks, progress and issues to the essential stakeholders and senior leadership members. It will be desirable for the Head of PMO to have either PRINCE2 or ISEB qualifications.
Key Skills - Head of PMO:
* Experience working as a Head of PMO * Full understanding of the Agile practices and methods * Experience running a PMO function * Previously managed IT roadmaps in alignment to the business' strategy * Experience of resource management and managing a team * Strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities
