An exciting client of mine that are currently undergoing an IT Change and Transformation Programme across the business and are looking for a Vendor Manager in to join their team. The Vendor Manager will be responsible for supporting a new IT function in managing third parties, vendors and partners to ensure optimum business value/cost efficiency and negotiating with suitable vendor services and revolution.
The Vendor Manager will be solely responsible for all Vendor Management within IT as they will have vital working relationships with Administration and Finance teams that will manage financial administration and contract obligations.
The Vendor Manager will also be responsible for working within with internal procurement procedures whilst also supporting and assisting in the preparation of RFPs, contract reports and other documentation.
Key Skills - Vendor Manager:
* Experience working as a Vendor Manager * Strong experience of IT supplier strategy, approaches and management * Previously managed large outsourced and bespoke IT suppliers * Previously set up a framework for supplier management or ensured vast improvement to an existing supplier management framework * Ability to negotiate contracts and SLAs/KPIs
