IT Support Technician- London- £28,000 benefits - full time
My client is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to work within their well respected company and to report to highly skilled managers when needed. The client wants a candidate who can get hands on within their role and likes the opportunity to work on your own also. IT Support Technician will be working alongside other support technicians to offer maintenance and support for small to medium sized firm, with their windows servers and client operating systems either face to face or over the phone.
Responsibilities of an IT Support Technician
Going to client site visits and resolving technical issues, conducting site surveys and installing hardware.
Escalating technical issues to the manager when necessary.
Providing continuous support for ongoing cloud services such as office 365.
Trouble shooting failed backups and resolving issues for clients.
Contribute to project work and communicating with colleges to resolve issues when necessary.
Setting up new computers and laptops for clients.
Providing support with servers and desktop on a wide range of operating systems such as windows and Mac OS X.
What technologies the IT Support Technician will require
* Windows server (2008/2012)
* Client operating systems (7, 8.1, 10)
* Experience with Mac OSX
* IT support: 3 years
