My client, a Managed Service Provider are looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to join their team. This role offers great opportunities for internal progression following on from exceptional growth after a successful financial year.
As a 2nd Line Engineer, you will be expected to work on the clients site taking ownership and responsibility for issues that arise, ensuring that disruption is restored as quickly as possible.
Main Duties of a 2nd Line Engineer:
* Providing 1st and 2nd Line Support on a variety of issues * Working predominately based on the clients site * Ensuring daily checklists are completed and any issues are reported and resolved effectively
Essential Skills of a 2nd Line Engineer:
* Windows 10 - building & deploying PCs * Office 365 - Administration, Group Polices * VoIP Telephony - administration * Mobile Device Management - Intune * Ticketing System experience - ServiceNow
Desirable skills of a 2nd Line Engineer:
* Networking knowledge - LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VPNs, Cisco * SCCM - Building and imaging * Microsoft Certifications are highly desirable
